Applying for a Library Card

To gain full library access, patrons must sign up for a card. Cards are not required to use the Wi-Fi or access the computer lab. However, in order to check out materials and place holds, a card will be required. Signing up for a card is a simple process and can be done online and in person with the assistance of a Librarian at the Circulation Desk.

Application Process

This year's program will take place in person. Visit the library to register and participate in this year's summer reading program, Adventure Begins at Your Library!

• Fill out the paper form or online form
• Provide one (1) proof of current address (printed)
• Provide one (1) photo ID (DL, passport, school ID, etc)
• Must be a Virginia resident
• Children will need guardian approval

Card Fees

Library cards are FREE with the exception of a $1.00 fee to replace lost cards. Damaged and worn cards or cards that no longer scan will have the $1.00 fee waived.

Patrons can sign up for an online card by clicking here and can pick up their physical card in person.
